This young, vibrant rapper from the soulful city of Jackson, Mississippi, began his musical journey at the age of 19. Growing up, Luck knew he wanted to do something different that could take people out of their everyday struggle and make them feel like what they were going through was okay, if only for a moment.
Luck started with the basics of creating beats and producing music until a childhood friend convinced him to go into rapping. Inspired by notorious rappers such as Andre 3000, Kanye West, and T-Pain, Luck strives for a distinct sound with relatable lyrics.
Luck isn’t the only one in the family who has a history of music. His mother, being a music teacher, pianist, and singer in the church choir, is the reason Luck has a natural feel for chord progression, song structure, and harmony.
