Trent The HOOLiGAN is a hip hop artist currently residing in Los Angeles, CA who covers unique flows and personality in his music. His roots started with Southern boom bap styled hip-hop and range all the way to aggressive, unorthodox flows over hazy and distorted instrumentals. Trent is not originally from California but was raised in Orlando, FL, which is where you can see the inspiration of his aggressive flows from fellow Florida natives like Denzel Curry and N3LL. His inspiration doesn’t stop there, as he grew up on Outkast, The Notorious B.I.G., Big Pun, MF DOOM and UGK, just to name a few.
His new single, “Yellow”, is a schizophrenic mash up of potent flows and topics ranging from social justice in the United States all the way to the way to Trent’s opinion on the current state of hip-hop. With his unorthodox and aggressive delivery, Trent paints a picture of the way he sees the world and he calls it “Yellow”.
