G. Battles – Fidel Castro


G. Battles is back with a new release and visual titled “Fidel Castro”. Flossing in a white porche, Battles returns home to his soil, the San Francisco Bay Area spitting bars with his gang West Coast Villanz on top of the bay. G. Battles is definitely letting the world know, he’s a force to be reckoned with in the music industry, and his approach is that of Fidel Castro, smashing. G. Battles was created by California: Born in Diego and grown in the Bay. The struggles and experiences he endured during his youth birthed his brand and mantra, Blak Hart. It is a reflection of the times in his community and the state of mind of the youth in his generation.

G. Battles encompasses a West Coast sound influenced by the Bay Area that at the same time is diverse enough to appeal to a wide demographic of listeners. His music has been featured on 106.1 KMEL, 88.1 KCEP Las Vegas, University of California Santa Cruz’s 88.1 KZSC and the California Music Channel. His music has been licensed on television shows on FOX and Showtime most recently on The Pitch and Shameless and in the film The Hot Flashes.

As an actor, G. Battles landed a cameo playing a journalist during a press conference scene in the critically acclaimed NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton. After a number of independent releases, 3 of G. Battles songs are now featured on Snoop Dogg’s “The Return Of Doggy Style Records” sound cloud page; “Down 4 Whatever”, “Tell That Bitch” and most recently “Fidel Castro”.
