blakbarry’s second single of 2019, “watchthis!”, was released on March 9. The track brings different elements from past singles. It contains both hard hitting bars and catchy flows but as well as a melodic touch with the hook.
blakbarry (Ahmad Barry) is a 17 year old rapper/singer from the DMV area. Barry was born in Langley Park, Maryland but raised for most of his life in Bowie, Maryland. Being a child of African descent, Barry was exposed to different ranges of music through his childhood.
Creating his first songs in early 2016, Barry decided to continue this passion with more serious intent in April 2017 after releasing his first single ‘Eviction’ alongside fellow collaborator and close friend Erxo. Barry would continue to release various singles throughout the remainder of 2017 into 2018 and would release his first project ‘The Starlight Compilation’ on October 19, 2018.
